sunset-mag-nov-2016November 2016 – Stitch was delighted to participate in Sunset Magazines 2016 Idea House in the Berkeley hills. The 4,000-square-foot ultramodern structure has incredible views from every floor. The home was designed by Berkeley-based Robert Nebolon Architects with interiors by Geremia Design and landscape design by Michelle Derviss.

Referencing the Craftsman movement, prominent in Berkeley and Oakland during the early 20th century, the home’s interiors were comprised of artisan materials to provide warmth to the contemporary architecture.

Local sourcing is a hallmark of Bay Area lifestyles and working with local craftspeople and professionals was key to the Sunset project. As a local business, Stitch was proud to be join the team and provided all the window coverings throughout the house.
