Motorized window coverings can greatly increase comfort and convenience, as well as safety and security. Reduced energy costs are often realized with heat reflective solar materials and screening available in many different coverage opacities and colors. Automation even enables remote control by smart phone or automatic operation by sensors that signal motors to close window coverings when outside temperatures hit a pre-programmed setting, keeping the inside cool.
Automated shades and large scale screens can be engineered and located externally to provide protection from sun, wind or even insects. With single shade and screen widths up to 25 feet wide we can ensure a clean look that doesn’t distract from the view. We can also design and fabricate custom built carpentry, custom or standard powdercoated finishes for the hardware and housing to ensure treatments are visually appealing and work with the existing architecture.
Stitch implements all types of motors from hardwire and wireless to battery operated solutions. We routinely work with motors from industry giants Somfy and Lutron. We can fabricate the custom treatments to your design specifications, then program them to operate automatically. Drapery and special tracks are also options.
